Ipswich-based PR and digital agency Genesis recently marked its 15th anniversary with a party for clients, business partners and community friends at the Royal Harwich Yacht Club in Woolverstone. Established in 2004 by directors Penny and Charles Arbuthnot, the agency won gold for outstanding PR consultancy at the CIPR PRide Awards for the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern region in November 2018 and also won gold for the best corporate and business communications campaign. Penny Arbuthnot said: “Business never stands still today, but the 15th anniversary is an opportunity to pause and reflect, and to acknowledge what our team has achieved. We have invested in Genesis’ services and in our team to take the business from strength to strength, evolving from purely PR when we started in 2004 to become a full service agency for today’s digital world.” Earlier this year Genesis was named as a UK finalist in the national CIPR Excellence Awards for outstanding small consultancy and is also nominated for best public affairs campaign.
